This architectural proposal for a speakeasy bar inspired by the works of Stravos and James Turrell (at the client's request), focuses on creating a deep connection between light, space, and perception. The design aims to provide an immersive, contemplative atmosphere, blending intimacy with energy. Soft, ambient lighting and subtle color shifts guide guests through the space, with vibrant tones and clean lines setting the mood. The bar itself features integrated LED lighting, which adapts to the dynamic ambiance.
Influenced by Stravos, the design incorporates smooth, organic forms and sculptural, functional surfaces. The furniture and decor offer a blend of art and utility, creating an avant-garde aesthetic that alters the guest's experience. Strategic use of shadows and light creates an illusion of depth, transforming the space into an immersive art installation.
The eclectic style of the bar includes various seating arrangements and visual accents, enhancing the overall experience. The design concept combines the sophistication of a speakeasy with the dynamic energy of house music, offering a unique and engaging atmosphere for guests. The goal was to create a unique design and experience, within the conceptual proposal for 1424, this space was designed to blend the sophistication of a speakeasy, with the dynamic energy of house music.
